Rules
Walimah Afrah is for real weddings and the people invited to them. These rules keep every page respectful, private and safe. They are part of our Terms & Conditions.
For hosts
- Create pages only for a real wedding or walimah that you, your family or your client are hosting.
- Add only guests you are really inviting, and only details they would expect you to have.
- Send invitations one person or household at a time. No bulk promotions, adverts or chain messages.
- Check names, dates, times and venues before you publish. AI suggestions and details read from a card can be wrong.
- Use guest replies, phone numbers and food needs only to plan your wedding. Do not sell, share or reuse them.
- Upload only photos, wording and card designs you made or have permission to use.
For co-hosts and wedding team
- The owner of a wedding decides who joins the team. Invite links last 7 days and work once.
- Do not share a team invite link outside the people who should help plan.
- Treat the guest list as private family information.
- If you no longer help with a wedding, use Leave this wedding.
For guests
- Your invitation link is personal to your household. Please do not forward it.
- Reply only for the people named on your invitation, up to the number of seats shown.
- Reply before the date the couple sets. After that, contact the couple directly.
- Keep answers and notes kind and relevant to the wedding.
Never allowed
- Spam, scams, phishing or fake events.
- Hateful, threatening, sexual or unlawful content.
- Posting someone's private details without their permission.
- Trying to open weddings, invitation links or accounts that are not yours, or testing the site's security without our written permission.
- Copying, scraping or reselling the service or other hosts' pages.
Report a problem
If you see a page or message that breaks these rules, or received an invitation you did not expect, email walimahafrah@askqa.app with the link and a short note. We will look into every report.
What we do when rules are broken
- Small problems: we contact the host and ask for a fix.
- Serious or repeated problems: we may unpublish the page, turn off invitation links or suspend the account.
- Unlawful activity: we may remove content straight away and share it with the authorities when the law requires.
Full details are in the Terms & Conditions.
